Role Purpose
The primary objective of the Frontline Sales Executive is to drive sales growth and enhance SSK’s market presence within Rohtak, Jhajjar & Sonipat. This is achieved by engaging directly with customers, distributors, and project stakeholders. The role requires blending heritage-driven trust with modern sales discipline, ensuring that SSK’s 91-year legacy is represented with professionalism and impact in all business dealings.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition & Engagement
- Identify and approach potential customers across the defined territory, including retail segments, projects, and institutional buyers.
- Present SSK’s premium electrical and modular switch products, including wires and MCBs, with an emphasis on quality and legacy.
- Channel Development
- Build and nurture relationships with distributors, retailers, and project dealers.
- Support partners in entering the luxury segment and institutional projects.
- Sales Execution
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through disciplined pipeline and funnel management.
- Conduct field visits, with approximately 70–80% outdoor activity, across the defined territory.
- Market Intelligence
- Gather insights on competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer preferences.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to refine positioning.
Brand Representation
- Uphold SSK’s premium image in all customer interactions.
- Utilise promotional activities, such as banners and digital campaigns, in alignment with SSK’s branding.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
- Ensure adherence to SSK’s compliance standards and ethical selling practices.
Skills & Requirements
- Education: Graduate degree preferred, with a background in Business or Marketing considered advantageous.
- Experience: 1–3 years in frontline sales, ideally within Electricals, FMCG, or real estate sectors.
Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Local market knowledge of Haryana districts.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
