Job Purpose:
To process all cash transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area and keep reports of cash and credit transactions. This position will be expected to contribute to a high energy, fast paced environment that provides customers with a friendly and dynamic experience.
Job Responsibilities:

Ability to demonstrate strong customer focused engagement in all aspects of work

Show a welcoming warm environment to all customers

Collect cash payments and make change
-
Operate registers and credit card/debit card terminals
-
Maintain an accurate cash drawer and perform cash drawer drops and closeouts

Provide product information including description and warehouse location to customers in support of sales

Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.

Accurately categorize and count product
-
Provide clear count information to customers in each transaction
-
Other assorted tasks will include cleaning bins and sorting merchandise in bins.

Other duties as required by Store Manager
Job Requirements:

Retail experience preferred

Basic knowledge of Mathematic, required for cash handling
