Frontend UI/UX Developer (React) — Freelance / Contract

About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend UI/UX Developer with React experience who can take ownership of the frontend development process.
You will work on converting Figma designs into high-quality interfaces, integrating APIs, and helping shape the frontend architecture of the product. This role requires someone who is comfortable working independently in a startup environment where things move fast and ownership matters.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js
- Convert Figma designs into production-ready components
- Integrate REST APIs with frontend components
- Implement mobile-first UI using TailwindCSS
- Structure and manage the frontend project architecture
- Write clean, scalable, and reusable code
- Optimize performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with React.js and React Hooks
- Experience with TailwindCSS or similar CSS frameworks
- Experience integrating REST APIs
- Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience working with Figma
- Basic understanding of AWS deployment
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
- Experience with Redux or Context API
