Role: Frontend Tech Lead
This is not a “manage from the sidelines” role. We’re looking for a hands-on Frontend Tech Lead who can own architecture, ship critical features, mentor engineers, and push quality—while building modern product experiences with performance, accessibility, and scalability in mind. You’ll lead from the front, write code daily, and operate like a product engineer.
What You’ll Build
You’ll work on high-impact products like:
● Customer-facing web apps and portals
● E-commerce and conversion-focused storefronts
● Design-system driven platforms & UI frameworks
● AI-enabled experiences (smart workflows, automation, AI-assisted content & components)
Responsibilities (High Ownership)
● Lead a team of 5+ engineers, drive execution, and deliver results end-to-end.
● Own frontend architecture: scalable component design, state management, performance strategy, SSR/SSG decisions, and long-term maintainability.
● Be the go-to technical expert: unblock the team, solve complex UI challenges, and raise engineering standards.
● Drive code quality through reviews, testing culture, and clean modular architecture.
● Ship fast without breaking things: strong CI/CD mindset, release hygiene, regression prevention.
● Collaborate deeply with product, design, backend, and stakeholders—bring clarity, timelines, and trade-offs.
● Own operational excellence: incident handling, RCA, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
AI-First Engineering (What We Expect)
We’re actively using AI to move faster and build smarter products. You’ll be expected to:
● Use AI tools to boost engineering velocity (coding support, test generation, refactors, documentation).
● Build AI-powered workflows into products (AI-assisted UI creation, recommendations, automation, smart content generation).
● Collaborate on AI integration patterns (prompt flows, evaluation, guardrails, performance + reliability).
Must-Have Skills
● 6+ years of experience building modern high-quality web UIs.
● Strong expertise in JavaScript + TypeScript (deep understanding, not surface-level).
● Advanced experience with React.js ecosystem (Next.js preferred).
● Solid knowledge of:
○ Component-driven architecture, design systems, scalability patterns
○ State management (Redux/Zustand/React Query etc.)
○ Performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, caching, bundle strategy, SSR/ISR)
○ Testing practices (Jest, React Testing Library, integration testing)
○ Build tooling (Webpack/Vite, code splitting, tree shaking, linting)
Good-to-Have (Big Plus)
● Strong accessibility expertise (ARIA, focus management, keyboard flows, semantic HTML)
● Experience working on e-commerce / funnels / conversion-driven products
● Exposure to DevOps fundamentals, monitoring, and incident management
● Prior experience in fast-paced startup environments
