Role Description The Frontend Engineer will work in a full-time, remote capacity, designing and implementing user-facing features for modern web applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include building responsive, performant interfaces, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, and translating business requirements into clean, maintainable code. The role involves working with contemporary frontend frameworks and tools, integrating APIs, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility. The Frontend Engineer will participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation, while contributing to best practices, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of the frontend architecture. This position also requires proactive communication in a distributed team environment and a strong focus on delivering high-quality user experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and component-based architectures.
- Experience in Responsive Web Design and Web Development, ensuring usability and performance across devices and browsers.
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development and Software Development fundamentals to collaborate effectively on full-stack solutions.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and familiarity with build tools, version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs and working with design systems or UI libraries.
- Knowledge of testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end) and attention to code quality, maintainability, and documentation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in AI-driven products, data-intensive applications, or consulting environments is a plus.
