Role Description This full-time, remote Frontend Engineer – New Graduate role centers on building and improving user-facing features for reApply’s web application. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive interfaces, collaborating with designers and product managers to refine user flows, and integrating frontend components with backend APIs. The engineer will participate in code reviews, write clean and maintainable code, and help optimize performance and accessibility across devices and browsers. The role also involves debugging issues, contributing to documentation, and supporting iterative experimentation to enhance the candidate experience.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design, with the ability to build accessible, performant user interfaces.
- Understanding of Web Development and Back-End Web Development concepts, including HTTP, APIs, and basic server-client interaction.
- Knowledge of Software Development practices, such as version control, testing, debugging, and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) and core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly in a distributed team, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Interest in developer tools, recruiting technology, or improving the job search experience is a plus.
