About The Role
We’re hiring a full-time Frontend Engineer (React) to develop and maintain the user interface for a mission-critical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system at Babco Foods International. This role is pivotal in creating systems that directly impact daily operations such as inventory management, logistics, and order processing. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building complex, data-heavy applications and have a strong understanding of frontend architecture design. This is a serious engineering position that requires ownership, initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The selected candidate will collaborate closely with backend engineers and designers to develop scalable, high-performance interfaces that improve usability and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for crafting large parts of the ERP frontend, designing component architecture, and ensuring seamless data flow across systems. The role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the core infrastructure of Babco Foods, supporting its growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in frontend development, specifically with React. A deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, CSS, and animations is essential. Experience with modern state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand, and familiarity with React Native APIs, React Flow, ECMAScript (OOJS), and JSX are required. Candidates should have a proven track record of building real-world business systems, including ERP, SaaS, or internal enterprise tools.
Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a systems-thinking approach are critical. Basic knowledge of Firebase services such as Authentication, Push Notifications, and Cloud Messaging is a plus. Knowledge of TypeScript and experience with data-heavy UIs involving tables, workflows, or real-time updates will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Build and own significant portions of the ERP frontend using React, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Design and implement scalable component architectures and state management strategies to handle complex, data-intensive interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with the frontend designer to ensure visual and functional consistency across projects ready for deployment.
- Work directly with backend engineers to define API specifications, data flow, and integration points to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Continuously improve the usability and performance of operational interfaces to support daily business activities.
- Maintain code quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing to ensure robustness and maintainability.
