About The Role
As a Founding Frontend Engineer at Cignara, you will be at the forefront of building and enhancing our innovative platform. Your role will involve designing and implementing responsive, user-friendly interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers, to translate requirements into functional, high-quality web applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the technical direction of our products from the ground up, contributing to architecture decisions and best practices. Based in India, this full-time, on-site role requires a hands-on approach, technical expertise, and a passion for creating scalable and accessible web solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core frontend development technologies: React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles, responsive design, and creating intuitive interfaces.
- Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks and state management tools such as Redux or similar.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with agile development workflows.
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques and cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience working on scalable web platforms or in startup environments is advantageous.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive user interfaces for our platform, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and usability to meet high standards of quality.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and uphold best practices in frontend development.
- Identify and resolve bugs or performance issues promptly to ensure a reliable platform.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance our frontend capabilities.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help establish scalable frontend solutions for the platform.
