Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Frontend Development role based in the Greater Coimbatore Area, focused on React and Next.js. The frontend developer will build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces for web applications, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing UI components using React and Next.js, integrating APIs, managing state, and optimizing frontend performance and SEO. The role involves translating design prototypes into clean, maintainable code, participating in code reviews, writing unit tests, and contributing to reusable component libraries and design systems. The developer will also help refine requirements, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve frontend architecture and developer experience in an AI-enhanced engineering environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Software Development and Programming skills, preferably with React, Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to debug complex frontend issues, optimize performance, and interpret technical requirements into workable solutions.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting work, and providing updates to stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of Sales and product value drivers to align frontend features with user needs, business goals, and measurable outcomes.
- Experience with modern frontend tooling (e.g., Webpack/Vite, ESLint, Prettier), Git-based workflows, and REST/GraphQL API integration.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design best practices, and SEO-friendly Next.js features such as server-side rendering and static generation.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and CI/CD practices for reliable and repeatable releases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in frontend development.
