Job Description:
AMARIS is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Frontend Development Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in building modern digital experiences for a luxury brand. This role offers exposure across web development, UI implementation, performance optimization, and collaborative product development while working closely with the tech and design teams.
Responsibilities:
Frontend Development:
- Assist in developing and maintaining responsive web pages and user interfaces
- Convert UI/UX designs into clean, functional, and scalable frontend code
- Ensure website compatibility across devices and browsers
- Support in improving website speed, performance, and accessibility
UI/UX Implementation:
- Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing interfaces
- Maintain consistency in typography, layouts, and design components
- Help optimize user journeys and overall website experience
Website Management:
- Assist in updating website content, banners, landing pages, and product pages
- Support integration of APIs and third-party tools where required
- Identify and fix frontend bugs and UI issues
Collaboration & Innovation:
- Work closely with marketing and design teams on campaign pages and digital initiatives
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new features and user experiences
- Stay updated with frontend development trends and best practices
Testing & Optimization:
- Conduct testing to ensure smooth website functionality
- Help monitor and optimize website performance metrics
- Support SEO-friendly frontend practices
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React.js or Next.js is a plus
- Understanding of Git/GitHub and version control basics
- Eye for design and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with tools like Figma, Tailwind CSS, or REST APIs is a plus
