About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled UI Developer to join our dynamic team at Luxoft India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces for our digital products. Your primary focus will be on translating UI/UX designs into functional, high-performance web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to develop scalable solutions, create reusable components, and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless application performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects utilizing the latest frontend technologies, contributing directly to the success of our digital offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in frontend development with a strong portfolio of web applications built using React.js and Next.js frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with designing user interfaces using Figma, creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups.
- Proficiency in working with Material-UI (MUI) components and customizing them to meet project requirements.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, preferably GIT, and familiarity with code management best practices.
- Experience with front-end build tools such as Visual Studio and package managers like NPM.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure code quality and application reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js frameworks.
- Create reusable, modular, and maintainable React components and front-end libraries to streamline development processes.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes from tools like Figma into functional code.
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate front-end components with APIs and other backend services.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, followed by rigorous testing and debugging to ensure functionality and performance.
- Analyze application performance metrics and implement optimizations to enhance responsiveness and load times.
- Identify and resolve bugs, glitches, and usability issues to improve overall application stability and user experience.
- Implement best practices for accessibility, security, and performance standards across all projects.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development to continuously improve skill set and project quality.
