About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Front-End Engineer with a mastery of both JavaScript/TypeScript and CSS/SCSS to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the entire front-end development lifecycle, from translating design mockups into pixel-perfect user interfaces to writing clean and maintainable code. You will work closely with designers and back-end developers to ensure our web applications are not only visually stunning but also functional, accessible, and performant.
What You’ll Do
· Collaborate effectively with designers and back-end developers to deliver high-quality products
· Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
· Actively contribute to team discussions and brainstorming sessions
· Maintain a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work
· Work with JavaScript/TypeScript
o Developing and maintaining high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, Nuxt, Vue.js, and React
o Writing clean, modular, and well-documented code
o Utilizing unit testing frameworks to ensure code quality and maintainability
o Staying up-to-date with the latest JavaScript and TypeScript features and best practices
· Work with CSS/SCSS
o Designing and implementing user interfaces using CSS and SCSS, focusing on accessibility, responsiveness, and performance
o Creating consistent and reusable CSS components for efficient code organization
o Utilizing advanced CSS techniques like animation, transitions, and grid layout
o Implementing SCSS variables, mixins, and functions for modularity and maintainability
o Crafting pixel-perfect visual representations of design mockups
o Staying up-to-date with the latest CSS trends and methodologies
Skills and Experience
· 3+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer
· Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
· Master-level knowledge of CSS and SCSS
· Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility best practices
· Experience with component-based CSS architectures like BEM or SMACSS
· Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js
· Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) is a plus
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team with individuals in dispersed locations
