Job Summary
Shriram General Insurance is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to build responsive, intuitive, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to create engaging user interfaces that provide a seamless customer experience across devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies.
- Convert UI/UX designs into clean, reusable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to implement new features and enhancements.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues to ensure smooth application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices.
- Ensure applications follow security, accessibility, and responsive design guidelines.
- Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and debugging techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, NgRx, or Vuex.
- Familiarity with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or Material UI.
- Knowledge of build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
