About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend/SDK Developer Level 6 to join our talented engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping both the developer-facing SDKs and the core frontend experiences of our AI evaluation platform. Your work will directly influence how external developers and internal teams interact with our tools, making usability, maintainability, and performance critical aspects of your responsibilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects using modern frontend technologies such as React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and advanced tooling. You will be expected to design scalable SDKs, reusable frontend systems, and contribute to architectural decisions that ensure long-term success and high-quality user experiences. The role demands a proactive mindset, technical excellence, and the ability to operate autonomously within a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of six years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record in building developer-centric tools and frontend applications. A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, React.js, HTML, and CSS, along with experience in designing public SDKs, open-source libraries, or APIs. Familiarity with package architecture, API design, and reusable frontend abstractions is essential. Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library, as well as proficiency in React Hooks and component-driven development, is necessary. Exposure to Tailwind CSS, React Query, React Hook Form, and TanStack Router will be advantageous. Candidates should also possess a solid understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards, state management, and frontend optimization techniques. Strong problem-solving skills, independent working ability, and proficiency with Git workflows are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
SDK & Developer Platform Engineering
- Design and maintain high-quality TypeScript SDKs and developer-facing libraries that are scalable and user-friendly.
- Build reusable abstractions, APIs, and frontend utilities to facilitate reliable integration by external developers.
- Create maintainable SDK interfaces prioritizing developer usability and scalability.
- Contribute to package architecture, ensure frontend platform consistency, and develop reusable component systems.
- Write comprehensive automated tests to ensure SDK reliability and frontend quality standards.
- Enhance developer experience through tooling improvements, package structure optimization, and streamlined workflows.
Product Frontend Development
- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible UI components using React 19 and TypeScript.
- Implement user-centric designs with Tailwind CSS, ensuring visual consistency and responsiveness.
- Participate in frontend architectural planning to develop maintainable and scalable solutions.
- Apply independent problem-solving skills to resolve complex UI and integration challenges effectively.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
- Manage client-side routing, data fetching, and form logic utilizing TanStack Router, React Query, and React Hook Form.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend systems with backend APIs seamlessly.
- Engage in code reviews, promote best engineering practices, and uphold high code quality standards.
