About The Role
We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our high ownership product team at Recro. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a SaaS platform that is actively used in production environments. Unlike traditional ticket-based roles, this position requires you to take full ownership of features, from initial design through to deployment and maintenance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and backend developers, to build scalable, high-performance frontend systems that deliver seamless user experiences.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in frontend or product engineering, demonstrating a strong foundation in modern JavaScript frameworks, with React preferred. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and system design basics is essential. Candidates should have experience working with APIs and developing database-driven applications. Prior experience working in SaaS or product development environments is a plus. The ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and communicate effectively within a collaborative team is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance frontend systems that meet business requirements.
- Take ownership of features across the UI, APIs, and data flow, ensuring robustness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with product managers to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work closely with backend teams to integrate APIs and optimize data exchange for performance.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and continuously improve the development process.
- Ship features rapidly and iterate based on user feedback and testing results.
