Responsibilities
- Design, code, and unit test front-end components that are functional, modular, and reusable that adhere to the feature requirements, best coding practices, and standard architecture design.
- Collaborate with other developers with many focuses including infrastructure, systems, backend, ops, etc.
- Stay on top of the latest technology and design trends and actively incorporate these changes into your development process.
- Troubleshoot complex issues independently and seek input when stuck.
- Shape and define the code standards for the front-end.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience writing in HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript (ES6/ES7).
- You recognize the importance of code review and can explain what makes a good code review vs. a bad one.
- Experience in manipulating data, REST APIs, and JSON.
- Knowledge of software standards, HTTP protocols, and web browsers.
- Comfortable working in a Unix environment (Ubuntu 16+).
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
