Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Frontend Developer. You will design and implement user interfaces for KiviDB’s web-based tools, dashboards, and developer-facing products. Day-to-day, you will translate product requirements into responsive UI components, collaborate with designers and backend engineers, and ensure seamless integration with APIs and backend services. You will optimize frontend performance, maintain a high standard of code quality, write tests, and participate in code reviews. You will also help refine the overall user experience, contribute to UI/UX improvements, and support documentation and release iterations.
Qualifications
- Front-end development skills, including modern JavaScript/TypeScript, a major framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular), and Responsive Web Design.
- Web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and core Web Development and Software Development practices (version control, testing, CI/CD).
- Basic familiarity with Back-End Web Development concepts and APIs to collaborate effectively with backend engineers.
- Experience building and optimizing complex, data-heavy UIs such as dashboards, admin panels, or developer tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to accessible, maintainable, and secure frontend code.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team, with clear written and verbal communication in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with performance profiling, state management libraries, and working in high-performance or data infrastructure products is a plus.
