About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend/SDK Developer Level 6 to join our team at Wisemonk. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality TypeScript SDKs and developer-facing APIs, as well as building responsive and accessible frontend interfaces using React 19, Tailwind CSS, and modern tooling. Your work will directly impact the developer experience, as the SDKs and frontend components you create will be used by external developers and internal engineering teams. This role demands a blend of architectural judgment, performance optimization, and a focus on usability and maintainability. You will collaborate closely with backend developers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver scalable and reliable solutions in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. You should have at least six years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record in building public SDKs, developer APIs, or open-source libraries. Extensive expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, React.js, HTML, and CSS is essential. Experience with package architecture, API design, and creating reusable frontend abstractions is required. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library, as well as proficiency in React Hooks and component-driven development, is necessary. Bonus skills include experience with npm package publishing, monorepo tooling, CI/CD workflows, and cloud platforms like GCP. Strong problem-solving skills, independent operation, and the ability to assess architectural trade-offs are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain TypeScript SDKs and developer-facing libraries that are scalable and user-friendly. Develop reusable abstractions, APIs, and frontend utilities that external developers can integrate reliably. Ensure SDK interfaces are maintainable, scalable, and optimized for developer usability. Contribute to package architecture, frontend platform consistency, and reusable component systems to promote code quality and efficiency. Write comprehensive automated tests to ensure SDK reliability and frontend robustness. Collaborate with backend teams to integrate frontend systems with backend APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
Build and maintain responsive, accessible UI components using React 19 and Tailwind CSS, ensuring compatibility across devices and browsers. Implement user-centered designs and contribute to frontend architectural planning for scalable solutions. Resolve complex UI and integration challenges through independent problem-solving. Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness. Manage client-side routing, data fetching, and form logic using TanStack Router, React Query, and React Hook Form. Participate in code reviews, advocate best practices, and uphold high standards of code quality to ensure a maintainable codebase.
