About The Role
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating design mockups into fully functional, responsive user interfaces. Your primary focus will be on building pixel-perfect, cross-browser compatible web pages that deliver an optimal user experience across all devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
This position requires a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of responsive design principles, and the ability to implement clean, maintainable code. You will work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless API integration and collaborate with UX/UI designers to bring visual concepts to life. Your ownership mindset will be crucial in maintaining UI quality, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving the front-end performance of our SaaS products.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of educational background and hands-on experience, including:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of proven frontend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience converting Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
- Deep understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent debugging skills utilizing browser developer tools.
- Experience working within SaaS or product-based environments.
- Willingness to work US business hours as needed for troubleshooting and collaboration.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
As a Frontend Developer at Total AI Systems, Inc., your key responsibilities will include:
- Building responsive, production-grade user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Translating detailed Figma designs into pixel-perfect, cross-browser compatible web pages.
- Ensuring that layouts are fully responsive and optimized for various devices including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Maintaining a clean, scalable CSS architecture to facilitate future enhancements and ease of maintenance.
- Optimizing page load times and overall performance to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Handling DOM manipulation and implementing dynamic UI logic with JavaScript and jQuery.
- Collaborating closely with backend developers to ensure accurate API integrations and data flow.
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving UI bugs across different browsers and screen sizes.
- Writing maintainable, well-structured, and reusable frontend code aligned with best practices.
