About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled frontend developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in modern web technologies and frameworks such as Node.js, React, Vue, or Angular. Your primary responsibility will be to develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate design concepts into pixel-perfect implementations, ensuring that our digital platforms are both visually appealing and functionally robust. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing application performance, maintaining code quality, and implementing scalable solutions that support MeridianSquare’s growth and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in frontend development with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Hands-on experience with build tools like Vite, Webpack, or similar.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience in creating scalable component libraries and design systems.
- Knowledge of backend API integration, state management, and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), offline capabilities, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality code.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications using React, Vue, or Angular frameworks.
- Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, user-friendly interfaces that meet modern standards.
- Implement modern CSS techniques, including CSS modules, Flexbox, Grid, and preprocessors, to create visually appealing layouts.
- Create and maintain component libraries and design systems to ensure consistency across platforms.
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs, manage application state effectively, and optimize data flow.
- Ensure applications meet accessibility standards and are optimized for mobile devices.
- Optimize application performance by implementing Core Web Vitals best practices, code splitting, and lazy loading.
- Build Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) with offline capabilities and seamless user experiences.
- Implement smooth animations and micro-interactions to enhance user engagement.
- Maintain high code quality through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Participate in continuous improvement processes, including automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines.
