Role Overview
We are looking for a Frontend Lead with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern UI architecture to lead the development of scalable, high-performing web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in frontend engineering, performance optimization, API integration, and team leadership within agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define frontend architecture and drive scalable UI design standards.
- Lead development of modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and UI/UX best practices.
- Build reusable components and optimize frontend performance and scalability.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs.
- Experience with Cloud preferably AWS
- Mentor engineers, conduct code/design reviews, and enforce coding standards.
- Collaborate with backend, QA, DevOps, architects, and product teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
- Support Agile/Scrum delivery processes including sprint planning and technical estimations.
- Drive engineering best practices, testing standards, and CI/CD adoption.
Required Skills
Frontend Technologies
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- React.js
- TypeScript
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- HTML5 / CSS3
- Expertise in UI architecture and reusable component design.
State Management & Integration
- Strong experience with:
- Redux
- Context API
- REST API integration
Leadership & Engineering
- Experience leading frontend teams and mentoring engineers.
- Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and debugging.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Micro-frontend architecture.
- Experience with AWS CloudFront or cloud-based frontend deployments.
- Knowledge of UI performance optimization and monitoring tools.
- Banking / Financial Services domain experience.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
