Role Description The Frontdesk + Administration role at The Gymtonico is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role manages the front desk, warmly welcoming members and visitors, handling check-ins, and responding to walk-in inquiries. Day-to-day responsibilities include answering phone calls, managing emails and messages, scheduling and confirming trial sessions or appointments, and providing clear information about membership plans, services, and facilities. The role also involves maintaining accurate member records, updating databases and attendance logs, processing payments and receipts, and coordinating with trainers and management to support daily operations. Additional duties include keeping the reception area organized, assisting with basic administrative tasks, and supporting member engagement activities and promotions as needed.
Qualifications
- Should have 2+ years of experience and proficiency in Receptionist Duties and strong Phone Etiquette.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
- Strong Computer Literacy and ability to work with standard office software
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Apps (Excel, Word, PPT, Drive etc)
- Previous experience in an administrative or front desk role is an advantage
- Availability to work full-time, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as per gym operating hours.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in administration, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
