Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Office Staff role based in Port Blair. The Front Office Staff will welcome guests, manage check-in and check-out processes, and handle reservations and room allocations. The role involves responding to guest inquiries, coordinating with other departments to fulfill guest requests, and maintaining accurate records of bookings and payments. Daily tasks also include managing phone calls and emails, updating guest information, and ensuring the front desk area is organized and presentable. The Front Office Staff will support smooth office administration, follow hotel policies and procedures, and contribute to a professional, guest-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for interacting with guests and coordinating with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high standard of hospitality.
- Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills to manage records, scheduling, and front office operations.
- Candidates should possess basic Accounting skills to process payments, manage bills, and support front office financial transactions.
- Relevant qualifications include prior experience in front office or hotel reception roles, knowledge of hotel management or reservation systems, and proficiency with common office software.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a diploma or degree in hospitality or business administration, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
