Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle patient registration, appointments, and follow-up scheduling
- Manage incoming calls, patient inquiries, and appointment coordination
- Maintain accurate patient records and front desk documentation
- Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, counselors, and billing teams for seamless patient flow
- Assist patients with billing, insurance, and payment processes
- Ensure reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and patient-friendly
- Guide patients regarding consultations, diagnostics, surgeries, and hospital services
- Handle walk-ins, emergency cases, and patient concerns calmly and efficiently
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to hospital protocols
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline
- 1–3 years of front office/reception experience, preferably in a hospital or clinic
- Excellent communication skills in English and Kannada (Hindi is an added advantage)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with hospital management software/MS Office
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, eye hospital, or diagnostic center operations
- Knowledge of appointment systems, billing, and insurance coordination
- Ability to manage patient interactions empathetically in a fast-paced environment
