Role Description The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing a welcoming first impression to guests and ensuring smooth front desk operations. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, handling reservations, answering phone calls, and responding to guest inquiries. The role also involves coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, processing payments, and maintaining accurate guest records. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Orchha Palace and Resorts in Orchha, requiring a professional demeanor and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and requests professionally and courteously.
- Proficiency in receptionist duties and check-in/check-out procedures, including managing reservations and guest records.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with front office or property management systems.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a high level of reliability and punctuality.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm in busy or challenging situations.
- Prior experience in front office or hospitality roles is preferred; a diploma or degree in hospitality or related field is an advantage.
