Role Description The Front Office Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai at Le Sutra, Indian Art Hotel. This role is responsible for managing daily front desk operations, including greeting guests, handling check-in and check-out procedures, and managing room assignments. The associate will respond to guest inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, ensuring prompt, courteous, and accurate communication. Daily tasks include maintaining guest records, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, processing payments, and assisting with reservations and basic concierge requests. The role requires maintaining a welcoming lobby atmosphere, upholding hotel standards, and contributing to a smooth and memorable guest experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Candidates should possess Receptionist Duties and Check-in experience, including handling reservations, guest registration, and billing procedures.
- Candidates should possess proper Phone Etiquette to manage calls, inquiries, and messages efficiently and courteously.
- Candidates should possess basic computer proficiency and familiarity with front office or PMS software.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess prior experience in hospitality or front office operations; hotel experience is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess at least a high school diploma; a hospitality-related qualification is preferred.
- Candidates should possess the flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
