Role Description The Front Office Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at Kabir Hotel & Spa in Vadodara. This position is responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing reservations, and responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and via email. The role includes appointment scheduling for spa or other hotel services, maintaining accurate guest records, and supporting daily administrative and clerical tasks at the front desk. The Front Office Assistant coordinates with housekeeping, spa, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience. The role also involves handling basic cash and card transactions, providing local information, and adhering to hotel policies and service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to provide courteous, professional guest service
- Effective Phone Etiquette and clear verbal communication for managing calls and inquiries
- Appointment Scheduling experience, especially for reservations and spa or hotel services
- Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including record keeping and basic documentation
- Basic computer proficiency (office software, reservation systems); prior front office or hospitality experience is an advantage
- Ability to work on-site in Vadodara with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum high school diploma; additional training or certification in hospitality or customer service is beneficial
