Role Description The Front Office Apprentice will support daily front desk operations and ensure a welcoming experience for guests at the on-site property in Udaipur. This full-time role includes greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, and coordinating with other hotel departments to resolve guest requests efficiently. The apprentice will assist with appointment scheduling, room allocations, and maintaining accurate records in front office systems. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve answering phone calls, managing reservations, and following IHCL standards for guest service and professionalism. The role provides hands-on training in front office procedures, hospitality etiquette, and guest relationship management, with guidance from senior team members.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Receptionist Duties.
- Candidates should possess polished communication abilities, including Communication and Phone Etiquette.
- Candidates should possess organizational and coordination skills, including Appointment Scheduling.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel or reservation systems is beneficial.
- Professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and the ability to work in shifts as per hotel operations.
- Fluency in English and local languages, with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in building a career in hospitality; prior internship or front office experience is an advantage.
