We are looking for a Front End Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Our client is seeking a Front End Engineer with a strong focus on building high‑quality, testable user interfaces. This role is ideal for a developer who has hands‑on experience with React and modern UI automation testing, and who can communicate clearly and confidently in English while working in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user‑facing applications using React and modern front‑end technologies
- Write, maintain, and execute UI automation tests using Playwright and React Testing Library
- Ensure front‑end components are reliable, performant, and well‑tested
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including backend engineers, QA, and product stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to front‑end best practices and standards
- Troubleshoot UI issues and improve overall application quality
- Support ongoing enhancements and releases for existing applications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of front‑end or UI engineering experience
- Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Hands‑on experience with UI automation testing using Playwright
- Experience with React Testing Library
- Strong understanding of front‑end testing strategies and quality practices
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, global team
- Based in Bengaluru, India
