Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Receptionist role based at a Nova IVF Fertility center in Mumbai. The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for greeting and directing patients and visitors, managing appointment scheduling, and handling check-in and check-out processes. Daily activities include answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, maintaining patient records, and coordinating with medical and administrative teams to ensure smooth clinic operations. The role also involves managing reception area cleanliness, handling basic clerical tasks, and supporting billing and documentation procedures as needed. A focus on empathy, confidentiality, and professional communication is essential to provide a reassuring and efficient experience for patients undergoing fertility treatment.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally and empathetically with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Demonstrated experience in receptionist duties and phone etiquette, including managing multi-line phone systems and front desk operations.
- Proficiency in clerical skills such as data entry, filing, appointment scheduling, and basic record-keeping.
- Ability to use computer-based clinic management or scheduling software; familiarity with healthcare or hospital environments is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Minimum high school diploma; a diploma or degree in administration, hospitality, or healthcare management is preferred.
- Comfort with maintaining patient confidentiality and following clinic protocols and policies.
- Previous experience in a front office, healthcare, or customer-facing role is beneficial.
