Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Receptionist role based at the Clay by Lingaraj Granites showroom in Bhubaneswar. The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for walk-in customers and callers, greeting visitors warmly, answering inquiries, and directing guests to the appropriate sales or design team members. Daily responsibilities include managing incoming calls, maintaining visitor logs, handling basic customer queries, and providing information about showroom offerings and services. The role also involves performing clerical tasks such as managing appointments, organizing documents, supporting basic data entry, and maintaining a tidy reception area. The Front Desk Receptionist will collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure a smooth showroom experience for every visitor.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer Service and Communication skills to engage visitors professionally and courteously.
- Front office operational capabilities, including Receptionist Duties and Phone Etiquette for managing calls, visitors, and inquiries efficiently.
- Administrative and organizational strengths, including Clerical Skills for handling records, appointments, and basic documentation accurately.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (such as email, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools) and comfort working with office equipment.
- Fluency in English and local languages preferred, with clear and confident verbal communication.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance, manage multiple tasks, and stay calm in a busy showroom environment.
- Previous experience in a reception, front office, retail showroom, or hospitality role is an advantage.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or customer service is a plus.
