Role Description The Front Desk Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based at The Westin Pushkar Resort and Spa in Pushkar. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk experience. Daily tasks include answering phone calls, responding to guest inquiries, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and maintaining accurate guest records and reservations. The Front Desk Attendant supports guests with information about resort facilities, local attractions, and transportation, while addressing concerns or requests promptly and professionally. The role also involves handling payments, preparing basic reports, and upholding brand standards of service and hospitality at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously and professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Proficiency in receptionist duties and phone etiquette, including managing multiple calls, directing inquiries, and providing clear information.
- Solid clerical skills, such as handling reservations, maintaining records, processing payments, and using front office software.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a guest-focused mindset.
- Prior experience in hospitality or front desk operations is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by resort operations.
- Basic proficiency in English; additional local or international languages are an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education or training is beneficial.
