Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Fridge Repair Person. The role involves carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing Bisleri-branded fridges and coolers installed at customer locations and distribution points. The Fridge Repair Person will respond to service requests, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replace faulty parts, and ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently. The role includes maintaining service records, coordinating with the service team and supervisors, and following company guidelines on safety, customer interaction, and reporting. The position may require occasional travel within the city, adherence to schedules, and support during peak operational periods.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in fridge, cooler, or refrigeration system maintenance, including diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical faults.
- Ability to use relevant tools and testing equipment safely and effectively, with basic knowledge of electrical safety and preventive maintenance practices.
- Good communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients, distributors, and internal teams.
- Organizational skills to manage service calls, maintain accurate records, and follow work orders with attention to detail.
- Prior experience as a refrigeration technician or fridge repair professional; experience in FMCG or beverage industry service operations is an advantage.
- ITI, diploma, or certification in refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, handle physical tasks, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with a diverse workforce.
