Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for Freshers - Trainee: Sourcing and RFQ Management. The role entails learning and managing the end-to-end sourcing process, assisting in preparing RFQs (Request for Quotations), vendor evaluation, and supplier relationship management. The trainee will also support negotiations and help ensure cost optimization and timely procurement of materials and services. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams will be part of daily responsibilities to align procurement with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and collaborate across teams.
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and Request for Quotation (RFQ) preparation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess vendor performance and ensure cost optimization.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word, for data analysis and reporting.
• A proactive learning mindset, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes or a keen interest in electronic or electrical is a plus.
