Role Description
This is an on-site internship role based in Surat, Gujarat. As a Fresher Shopify Developer, you will assist in developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify themes and applications, ensuring seamless solutions for eCommerce projects. Daily tasks include writing clean and maintainable code, troubleshooting issues, implementing new features, and collaborating with designers and other developers to achieve project goals. Additional responsibilities may include testing, debugging, and understanding Shopify APIs to support integrations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals for front-end development
- Knowledge of Shopify platform, Liquid templates, and basic Shopify theme development
- Understanding of debugging and problem-solving skills for code optimization
- Keen interest in eCommerce development and a willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or currently pursuing such degree
- Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git is a plus
- Exposure to Node.js, React.js, or PHP is advantageous but not mandatory
