Internship Overview

The B2B Intern will support FreshDirect’s Business-to-Business team across sales operations, account management, and customer success initiatives. This internship offers hands-on exposure to wholesale foodservice operations, client relationships, and data-driven sales strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support B2B Account Managers with day-to-day account activities, including order tracking, customer inquiries, and follow-ups

  • Assist with onboarding new B2B customers, including account setup, documentation, and product education

  • Analyze sales, order, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for internal stakeholders

  • Conduct market and competitor research within the foodservice and wholesale grocery space

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Marketing teams

  • Assist with special projects related to process improvement, customer experience, and revenue growth

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, or a related field

  • Strong interest in B2B sales, account management, foodservice, or e-commerce

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship or work experience in sales, customer service, operations, or hospitality

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or data tools

  • Interest in the food, grocery, or hospitality industries

Compensation
