FRESH phD - Part TIme Job - Only Fresh PhD - Business & Research Profile -

Zebrafish Laboratory (Part-Time → Full-Time) - Note it is not a hard core research job to start with.

We are hiring a fresh PhD (Biotechnology / Genetics) for a part-time role (4 hours/day, flexible) based in Navi Mumbai, with a clear transition into a full-time leadership position within ~6 months.

This role is designed for candidates who are keen to build and lead a zebrafish research and business vertical from the ground up, combining scientific rigor with translational and client-facing responsibilities.

💼 Compensation

₹30,000/month (Part-time)

🔬 Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute zebrafish-based studies with scientific rigor

Supervise and streamline daily lab operations and animal facility workflows

Engage with prospects and contribute to business development and scientific pitching

Develop scientific content, research papers, and publication support material

Lead outreach initiatives, workshops, and awareness programs

Manage client servicing, project execution, and coordination

Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards

Travel outside Mumbai for lectures, installations, and client engagements

⚠️ Important Note (Lab Infrastructure)

We currently do not have an in-house molecular biology facility. However, we have active collaborations and tie-ups for molecular work.

The selected candidate will be expected to:

Drive integration of molecular components through partners

Strategically expand and shape the lab’s capabilities

Play a key role in building a future in-house molecular vertical

This is a foundational role with significant ownership and decision-making scope.

✅ Eligibility

Fresh PhD (Biotechnology / Genetics or related field)

Strong inclination toward applied research + business interface

Preferably Mumbai / Navi Mumbai-based candidates
