Role Description The French Language Expert will work full time on-site at the Bhopal office, providing high-quality language support for internal teams and client-facing projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating documents, emails, and other materials between French and English, as well as interpreting during calls or meetings when required. The role involves reviewing and editing French-language content for accuracy, tone, and clarity, and ensuring consistency with project guidelines. The French Language Expert will collaborate with operations, customer support, and content teams to deliver clear and culturally appropriate communication. Additional tasks may include creating or refining French-language resources, maintaining glossaries, and supporting training or quality assurance related to language services.
Qualifications
- Strong Translation and Interpreting skills for French and English, with the ability to handle both written and spoken content accurately.
- Excellent Communication abilities, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and cultural sensitivity.
- Proficiency in Language Services, such as localization, terminology management, and quality review of multilingual content.
- Advanced Writing skills in French and English, including grammar, style, and the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
- Fluency in French (near-native or native level) and strong command of English.
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Linguistics, Translation, Literature, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience as a language expert, translator, interpreter, or similar role in a professional setting is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhopal, manage deadlines, and handle multiple assignments with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with translation tools or CAT software and basic computer literacy (MS Office, online collaboration tools).
