Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating the transportation of goods by building and maintaining relationships with carriers and clients. Daily tasks include negotiating freight rates, coordinating dispatching and scheduling, ensuring timely deliveries, and managing client accounts. You will also provide exceptional customer service, address logistics challenges, and optimize transportation solutions to meet business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations
- Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills
- Proficiency in Dispatching and scheduling logistics activities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with transportation management platforms and logistics software
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines
- Previous experience in logistics or the transportation industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field is a plus
