Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing client accounts, coordinating logistics solutions, and executing freight brokerage operations. Day-to-day tasks include negotiating rates with carriers, dispatching shipments, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and maintaining compliance with industry standards are integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage services
- Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills
- Proficiency in coordinating logistics through Dispatching processes
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote role, with strong time management skills
- Familiarity with transportation management platforms and industry regulations is a plus
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is highly desirable
