Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Thiruvananthapuram for a Freight Forwarder. The Freight Forwarder will coordinate and oversee freight transportation operations from end to end, including liaising with shippers, carriers, and customers. Responsibilities include arranging shipments, ensuring compliance with export and import regulations, providing excellent customer service, and managing documentation. The role also involves tracking shipments, resolving transportation issues, and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation practices
• Experience in handling Export procedures and documentation
• Strong Customer Service skills to communicate with clients and resolve queries efficiently
• Ability to manage and oversee Forwarding operations effectively
• Knowledge of time-critical logistics and supply chain coordination is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
• Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment with a solutions-driven attitude
