Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Freight Broker to join our team in an on-site role based in Chandigarh. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing day-to-day freight operations, including securing carriers, managing customer accounts, coordinating dispatching activities, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role will also involve negotiating rates, creating schedules, and ensuring timely deliveries while building strong relationships with both clients and carriers.
Qualifications
- Experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations
- Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills
- Proficiency in Dispatching and load coordination
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines effectively
- Knowledge of the logistics and transportation industry is preferred
- Proficient with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is an advantage
- Proven record of building and maintaining relationships with clients and carriers
