Role Description The Freight Broker at V2U Logistics will manage freight movements by connecting shippers with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely, cost-effective transportation. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing and onboarding carriers, handling dispatching activities, monitoring shipments, and resolving any service issues or delays. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships through proactive communication, responding to inquiries, and coordinating solutions that meet service and compliance standards. The Freight Broker will also support account management tasks such as updating shipment records, tracking performance metrics, and collaborating with internal teams to drive process improvements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, requiring regular coordination with global partners and adherence to company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage activities, including rate negotiation and carrier sourcing.
- Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to build and maintain reliable client and carrier relationships.
- Experience in Dispatching, load planning, and coordinating daily shipment activities.
- Solid understanding of transportation, logistics operations, and basic documentation requirements.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a focus on timely issue resolution.
- Comfort with using logistics software, TMS platforms, and standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, email).
- Ability to work on-site in Noida and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in freight forwarding, trucking, or logistics; prior brokerage experience is an advantage.
- Graduate degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
