Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mohali for the role of Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing relationships with carriers and clients, negotiating freight rates, coordinating transportation logistics, and ensuring timely pickup and delivery of goods. Daily tasks include booking loads, maintaining accurate records, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise to ensure superior customer service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations
- Strong skills in Customer Service and Account Management to build and maintain client relationships
- Experience in Dispatching and coordinating freight logistics
- Knowledge of freight transportation regulations and market trends
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
