Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Freight Broker role. The Freight Broker will coordinate daily freight operations, connect clients with carriers, manage customer accounts, provide excellent customer service, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The role involves cultivating relationships with clients and carriers, negotiating rates, and monitoring shipment status to meet delivery expectations. The Freight Broker will also collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics strategies and foster operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations, including sourcing carriers and coordinating shipments
- Strong Customer Service and Account Management abilities to develop and maintain client and carrier relationships
- Experience in Dispatching and managing freight scheduling and tracking for timely deliveries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple assignments
- Knowledge of transportation management systems and industry compliance regulations
- Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus
