Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will handle a variety of daily responsibilities, including freight brokerage, managing customer relationships, dispatching shipments, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. The role will involve negotiating freight rates, coordinating with carriers and shippers, and managing accounts to meet client-specific logistics needs, while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Freight Brokerage and Brokerage skills to facilitate freight operations and negotiate rates effectively.
- Customer Service and Account Management experience to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Dispatching skills to coordinate and track shipments with carriers and ensure timely deliveries.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in communication and collaboration to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of logistics software and transportation management systems is a plus.
- Previous experience in a freight brokerage or logistics role is preferred.
