Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will oversee the entire freight management process, from sourcing carriers and negotiating rates to coordinating shipments and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with clients, managing accounts, handling dispatching activities, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves monitoring shipments and resolving any issues to ensure a seamless process for clients and carriers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage to manage and coordinate transportation services efficiently.
- Strong Customer Service and communication skills to maintain and grow client relationships.
- Experience in Dispatching and logistical coordination to ensure successful and timely deliveries.
- Account Management skills for handling client accounts and addressing their ongoing needs effectively.
- Superior problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in working with complex logistics operations.
- Proficiency in transportation management software is highly desirable.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
