Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker is responsible for managing all aspects of freight brokerage services, which includes coordinating shipments, building relationships with clients, negotiating rates with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role also involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining thorough records, managing client accounts, and coordinating with dispatch to optimize operations. This position requires strong collaboration, problem-solving, and organizational skills to support the logistics needs of both the company and its clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in Freight Brokerage and general Brokerage processes
• Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to build and nurture client relationships
• Proficiency in Dispatching and coordinating shipments effectively
• Experience in Account Management, including maintaining and growing client accounts
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with transportation management software and logistics technology is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
