Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing freight shipments, developing and maintaining relationships with shippers and carriers, and providing exceptional customer service. The role involves coordinating and scheduling freight transportation, negotiating rates, ensuring timely delivery, and resolving issues as they arise. The Freight Broker will also be responsible for account management and maintaining accurate shipment records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations
- Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills
- Experience in Dispatching and coordinating freight shipments
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and shipments simultaneously
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and logistics software
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
- Prior experience in logistics or transportation is a plus
