Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will manage customer accounts, negotiate contracts with carriers, and facilitate freight arrangements to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Responsibilities include customer service, dispatch coordination, maintaining relationships with clients and carriers, and actively seeking new opportunities to grow the business.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Freight Brokerage and general Brokerage practices
- Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Experience with Dispatching and coordination of freight transportation logistics
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using transportation management platforms and technology
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus
